Microchip Check! You can stop by a veterinary office, Scott County Animal Care & Control or Scott County Humane Society to have the found pet checked for a microchip.
The shelter is a county-run agency which is the only open-admission and intake facility in Scott County. When an animal is found roaming or animal control is called to pick one up, they will go to Scott County Animal Care & Control located at 1185 Cardinal Drive Georgetown, KY 40324. Their phone number is 502-863-7897. They are open from 8 am to 4 pm Monday - Friday. Contact them to report your pet missing or report a found pet.

Petco Love Lost is another great website to post missing or found animals on. You can enter a photo of your missing pet and search the Petco Love national lost and found pet database to find your missing pet. You can also register your pet in their database which uses facial recognition to identify pets. |
