Kyle
“Kyle” just didn’t sound like a cat name to me. He now answers to “Oliver” and has adapted well to our home. My husband and I love him! Our dog, Annie, tolerates him. She is so jealous of Oliver. If I’m petting him, she has to get right between us! Sometimes they chase each other from room to room. Sometimes the cat is in front, and sometimes the dog is. They’re funny to watch!
Oliver is now about a year old and is no longer a little ball of fluff. He’s a big ball of fluff! In one of the photos I’m sending you, you’ll notice my size 8 shoe next to him.
He’s not a lap cat; I wish he were. If the dog weren’t always in the way, Oliver might be more loving. Oliver scampers through our house and reminds me of a rabbit the way he moves. Also, he has been very healthy—not sick one day and have yet to see the first hairball. In addition, he loves to go outside in our backyard and lie under our tree for short periods of time. We have a totally enclosed backyard with a privacy fence, and, since Oliver has no claws, he can’t climb it.
Thanks for checking on him! Rest assured he is loved and well cared for.
