Mousie's Sponsorship Page
Do you want a cat that will never jump on your kitchen table or counters? Meet Mousie!! This gentle giant is missing a couple "cat" qualities. For one, he is quite the floor dweller. The only thing he has ever jumped up on is the storage tote in the closet that he has claimed as his throne. Mousie can take awhile to get used to new surroundings (hence the closet throne), but here are some things we have learned about this sweet guy:
Likes: Food, getting brushed, food, chasing shadows, food
Dislikes: Food bowls that are less than full, heights, dogs, food bowls that are not near his preferred lounging location
Mouse was a little unsure of the other cats in his foster home, but lately he can be seen trying to initiate a little playtime with them.
Don't miss the heart shaped marking on his side!
Mousie is a healthy cat, but is FIV positive. This simply means that his immune system might be a little weaker than other cats, but he can still live a long and normal life. FIV can only be passed through a deep bite wound, so as long as cats get along he poses no threat to others. Mousie currently lives with both FIV negative and positive cats without issue (he's a lover, not a fighter). Click here to learn more about FIV.
