De ha, de ha, de ha……Here I come…Looping along…..with my big droopy, sad hound eyes that you just can’t ignore! Hey you’ all I’m Remington. No, not the shaver, though it was a “Close Shave” getting out of the shelter. I’m a hound dog…. PURE BREED Blood Hound to be exact…...at 7 months old and found as a stray, I’m “Rifle Thin” right now, weigh only 56. I’ve got a sure “Fire” correction for that problem. I come a-running like a “Bullet” anytime I smell “People Food”, like at dinner time or even as you just open the refrigerator door. I plan to “Load-up” on that stuff. I’m betting my soulful face, big floppy ears that look like giant bird wings as I run will be my “Ammunition” to gain your affection! My foster dad says I’m a “Sweetheart” of a guy that will stand at my kennel door “Baying” to anyone who will listen. It’s a “Shot” in the dark, but I know someone out there will hear…..Instead of a shot that was heard around the world, I prefer a Squeaky toy heard around the room as I romp and play. After our day is all over, I’ll “Scope” out my favorite spot next to you to get my “Barrel” (belly) rubbed. Then it’s off to bed where the only thing you will hear is the echo of my snores…. Already Crate trained I’m still on my “Learners Permit” for the house training thing, but almost there. Remington will trip-your-“Trigger” for sure as he has his “Sights” on you.
