I hear the cottonwoods whisp’rin’ above….Tammy! Tammy! Tammy’s looking for love! Yes, I’m Tammy, a bright little Cairn Terrier mix girl that had been tied out because no one wanted an inside dog… At 1 ½ years old weighing in at 13# it was mighty cold and scary out there… but now I’m in a loving foster home and showing I do know what an inside dog should be like. Already house and crate trained, I stand quietly for a bath and brushing… I’m looking and feeling good just wanting a Love. Like the song says…. “My heart beats so joyfully” “You’d think that they could hear”…I am a fun loving girl true to my breed being adventurous, intelligent, and already showing I’m loyal. I do love to romp and play with other dogs then ready to sack it in for a nights rest. My first night in foster care my foster sisters and I were settling in when Mimsy, another foster dog, decided to cry out for mom. Well, mom came down and did some loud talking to us. “Blah, Blah, Blah…..” is all I heard, but I’m thinking it was something to let us know that dad was trying to sleep and the bedroom was right over our kennel! I kind of hid in my blankie as I knew it was not me barking… Guess Mimsy did get the idea as she said not another peep all night. Mom was so pleased the next morning that we got hugs and kisses for being good. Considered a “Teacher’s Pet” I do take correction seriously and want to please you in any way. I look for you, come to you and want to be near you. My flamboyant personality is shown by my constantly wagging tail and my severe….. “Under-bite”. Yes, I enjoy being an individual! As the song goes on to say…“I long for your Charms, Id sing like a violin, If I were in your arms….Tammy, Tammy, Tammy is looking for love”! Inside companion only please.
