About Rex

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Cat
  • Housetrained: Yes
Rex is a handsome boy who is in heaven now that he is safe and loved in foster care. About 7-8 years old (as of 9/2010), this very sweet and affectionate boy was found as a stray, battered and in much need of someone to pet him, cuddle him and show him in kindness. He follows you around like a puppy, always in hands reach to receive a smile, some gentle words or a head pet or chin rub. Rex loves to lay in the sun, and have his belly rubbed, and look out the window. He pays no mind to other dogs or cats and is very laid back and is a very relaxing cat to have around! Rex is very good with kids and adults alike, and is super laid back. Nothing fazes this boy! He has zero interest in the outside world as by the looks of his one sadly tattered ear, it was not a kind world to him. Rex is now hoping for a dream come true which will be better late than never, to be adopted into a home which will cherish him always, keep him safe from harm, with a family who will welcome him onto their laps, keep a place in bed for him at nighttime, and let him enjoy the rest of his many years left knowing he belongs and is loved. Email your application and open your heart and bring this especially sweet boy into your home and life. IMPORTANT All adoptable pets are fostered in volunteers' homes. We do not have the volunteer resources to answer phone or email inquiries without a completed application. To ensure your inquiry about this pet receives proper and prompt attention, please complete an adoption application and send to the e-mail address beneath the pet's photo (there is no obligation to adopt). We do adopt out of state. Prior to being placed up for adoption, all cats at minimum receive a veterinary exam and are neutered/spayed, tested negative for FeLuk/FIV, HomeAgain micro-chipped, current on all shots and Rabies, fecal tested and de-wormed, and flea treated with Frontline, and ear mite treated with Revolution if needed. Prior to being placed for adoption, all kittens (under 5 months of age) receive at minimum a veterinary exam and are neutered/spayed, tested negative FeLuk, HomeAgain micro-chipped, current on booster shots, fecal tested and de-wormed, and flea treated with Frontline, and ear mite treated with Revolution if needed.
