HELLO THERE I'm Cajun, a sweet young adult redbone coonhound looking and sniffing for my forever home. I'm energetic and love attention. I've got this whole house-training and crate-training thing down-pat and am quickly learning basic commands like 'sit', even with a wiggly-behind, I will sit just to get your attention! HEY, don't giggle, its hard to sit still when my happiness wiggles all the way down to my tail and back!! I have learned to walk on a leash after some work. I am very friendly with other dogs, not much interested in cats, any child I come close to should be sturdy because of that wiggle I told you about! I've passed with flying colors all sections of the temperament test the Scott Co. Humane Society gave me. I am #1 class HOUND minus the baying....I don't bark--just wiggle!!! Truly a regal prince among hounds. You may call me Sir Cajun Prince of Hounds!! and pardon the southern accent!! I love to explore stuff with my super sensitive nose but I don’t chew on anything other than my toys and am very respectful of stuff that doesn’t belong to me. My number one all time favorite toy the hedgehog goes with me everywhere like my best friend. Me and him go everywhere together, even out to potty, in the car, and to bed. He's safe and doesn't eat much!! People who know me think I am very entertaining but that's just me being myself! I have a running gait that seems to please....come meet me and I'll show ya what I mean! Please have a secure fenced yard for me since I love the great outdoors. I like the security that you're not far away. I am not a career hunting dog but I'll make it my lifelong aspiration to hunt you down for couch time!!!! Just YOU, ME and my hedgehog, ok?
