About Kate

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Cat
  • Housetrained: Yes
Kate is about 4 years old (as of 9/2010) and was adopted from SCHS when she was a kitten. Sadly, Kate was recently found as a stray by Woodford Animal Control and we are not sure why she was outside, but she had been outside for some time and in need of tlc. Kate is a sweetie. She has two distinctive grey atop her head. Kate has a satiny soft medium length white coat and a beautiful face. She is gentle and adapts well to new surroundings, she is grateful and appreciative of love and being able to have the basic necessities she has been missing in her daily life like food, shelter and attention from someone. Kate has no interest in hanging out with the other cats at her foster home. She seems to prefer just the time you spend with her, and while she is not mean with other cats or the nice dogs at her home, she prefers them not in her personal space. Kate likes to lounge about, is a great window gazer and loves to be held, petted and to be beside you at bedtime. She can be a stubborn kitty, not always doing as you say, but she is of course a cat so we expect this! Kate greets you when you come home and is ready for head rubs and petting and purrs happily. She is easy going to live with and would enjoy a home that will care for and show her love. Email your application to adopt Kate! IMPORTANT All adoptable pets are fostered in volunteers' homes.
