Demeter is about 1-year old (as of 10/2010) and is the coolest-looking cat her foster mom has ever seen! She’s a pretty calico with tufted ears, gorgeous “eyeliner” markings, and long whiskers. . She was found living outside with her one surviving kitten and came into our foster care to hopefully find a forever home. Deme is new to being an indoor kitty, but she is loving it, especially lying on your lap while you watch TV. She also likes to “help” you in the kitchen or bathroom (maybe she can learn to cook?). Deme is used to living with dogs and interacting with older children. She’s still getting used to things like getting her nails trimmed and inside manners (like not being so helpful in the kitchen), but she’s learning! She would love to come home with you and be your forever companion. She purrs up happily when you pet her or show her attention, and likes to batt around toys or chase a laser pointer!
