Rex is a very handsome orange tabby boy with classic bulls-eye swirl markings and a velvety plush coat that you will love to pet! He is about 4-years old and is extremely sweet and purrsonable in nature. Rex had a home but was given up when his family fell on hard times and was returned to the county shelter where his hopes to find a new home began. Now in foster care, Rex is eager to meet his new family and become their forever companion and snuggle bunny! He loves being petted and held and is a lover through and through. Rex is easy going with little ever fazing him, and he adapts well to new surroundings, people and also does good with other cats and with cat-friendly dogs. Rex likes to explore at his leisure through the home, is known to play with toys along the way, and seems to always find the sunniest and most comfy place in the home. He loves kids and adults and will be a great addition for a family. With a gentle temperament, he just makes himself at home and will like to cuddle by your side or on your lap while you are reading or watching tv, watch you cook, and will be a great foot warmer come bedtime. SCHS Foster Veterinary care and services Prior to being placed up for adoption, all cats at minimum receive a veterinary exam and are neutered/spayed, tested negative for FeLuk/FIV, HomeAgain microchipped, current on booster(s) and Rabies vaccination, fecal tested and de-wormed, and flea treated with Frontline, and ear mite treated with Revolution if needed. Prior to being placed for adoption, all kittens (under 5 months of age) receive at minimum a veterinary exam and are neutered/spayed, tested negative FeLuk, HomeAgain micro-chipped, current on booster shots, fecal tested and de-wormed, and flea treated with Frontline, and ear mite treated with Revolution if needed.
