About Daisy

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Cat
  • General Color: Brown Tabby
  • Housetrained: Yes
Daisy is one half of a very special sister set looking for a loving forever home. Because it is important that these girls continue to share a home and love together, they have a special adoption fee of $30 for the pair. You'll definitely be basking in double the love and purrs with this sweet sister set! Daisy, and her sister Dixie, are 4 years old (as of 8/1/2011) and have been together always. They were adopted to the same home where they were loved and happy until recently when their owner needed to return them to SCHS foster care due to allergies of their child. Dixie and Daisy are true sisters, they are there for each other when they need comfort or when they are so content they just snuggle next to each other, and also like sisters, they have tiny spats over silly things! Each girl is about 18 pounds and is declawed on all four paws. Dixie is bold classic tabby markings with a huge rosette on each side. She is outgoing and the bolder of the two, ready to get right into the action in the home! Daisy is a brown and black striped tabby with huge golden eyes. Daisy is a pinch shy with new things and will watch the action first before she gets into playing or racing through the home also! Both girls are sweet to love on, happy to be held and petted. They have sleek, super soft coats and love to purr up a storm when you pet them. They like to hang out on your lap or by yourside, or will seek out the comfiest spot in the home if your lap is not available! They love catnip toys and any chaser or dangle toy, and while they are large girls, they are happy to play and do not shy away from activity! They adapt well to new surroundings with Dixie adapting quick and Daisy needing a week to settle in and overcome shyness. Both are very good with other cats, and also are used to sharing a home with a dog! They are accustomed to being around children and are gentle and sweet. Because Daisy is a pinch shy, a loud and very active home may be harder for her to settle into. These very precious, purring and lovable girls need a home or family that will cherish them and be caring and attentive to them forever. They want to be part of a home again, and miss having people to call their own. Email your application today, and give these sisters a family to be part of. IMPORTANT All adoptable pets are fostered in volunteers' homes. As we do not have the volunteer resources to answer phone or email inquiries without a completed application, to ensure your inquiry about this pet receives proper and prompt attention, please complete an adoption application and send to the e-mail address beneath the pet's photo (there is no obligation to adopt). We adopt out to of state homes, but ask potential adopters to consider the cost and methods of transport and include this information when submitting an application.
