About Daisy

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Dog
  • General Color: Black
  • Housetrained: Yes
Meet Daisy. Daisy is a female Chug, a type of designer breed. A chug is a mix between a Chihuahua & a Pug. She is a little over a year old and weighs 10 lbs (as of 9/10). Daisy is completely house trained but she's a busy girl and really gets distracted, so it takes her some time to get her business done. She seems to ask to go out about every four hours. Daisy is also crate trained. However she really needs to have exercise after being in her crate sleeping all night. Therefore she needs to be walked in the morning or let out in a fenced in back yard to burn off some energy! Daisy really likes to go for walks and will sit for you to put on her leash. Sometimes when she gets impatient and wants to walk faster she will turn and tug a little on the leash with her mouth as if to say, “come on already!” Since Daisy is a high energy dog, we do recommend that she go on a 20-30 minute walk twice a day, once in the morning and once at night. Her foster mom says that Daisy needs exercise like she needs air! She has a lot of upper body strength and she is like a little race horse. Daisy LOVES riding in the car and will sit nicely and not jump around. She loves going to the coffee shop with her foster mom and dad. During the day Daisy likes to hang out and play or sit on the couch with someone. Daisy is great with children and loves when they play fetch with her. She is also a submissive girl who will lie on her back, feet in the air for a back rub! Daisy is affectionate to every person she meets and will put her little paws in your hands waiting for love! She also LOVES to give kisses! Daisy does get along with other dogs but sometimes her Chihuahua spunk comes out with a little growl, but there is nothing there to back it!. She will also do fine in a home with cats. Daisy is waiting and ready for her new home and hopes that she will meet her forever family soon!
