Meet Red! He is a super cute male Long-haired Chihuahua Mix. He is about 5 months old and weighs a small 5.7 lbs as of 8/5. He will be small even as an adult but may gain a little weight. Red was found abandoned in a trailer with eight other dogs. He was very malnourished when he came to SCHS, but he has made great strides and is looking great! Red is doing great with house training and crate training. He gets along with dogs and cats. He would also do fine in a home with children—and would suit any family. He is a very affectionate boy who is very cuddly and loves to sit on his foster families laps. Red is a people lover and wants to be close to his family. He does love to run and play with the other dogs also. If you looking for a small, young, playful dog that will also spend time sitting on your lap—Red is the one for you!
