About Raisin

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Dog
  • General Color: Black
Meet Raisin! He is a male Border Collie & Papillon Mix who is currently 7 weeks old. Since he and his litter mates are so young, it is hard to tell how big they will really get. Our best guess at this point is 30lbs. Their mom is a small Papillon mix and the father is a Border Collie mix. Raisin is the runt of the litter and seems to be the smallest about half the size of the other puppies. His tail stands straight up where some of the other puppies tails are curled. Despite being the small one, he makes up for it with his lovable nature. He and the other puppies have been fortunate to have great care since they were born. Raisin will let his foster mom know when he wants to be held. They also have been very socialized with other dogs, cats, and they have been around children. Since he is so young, Raisin still needs work with house training and crate training. He also will need lots of chewy toys to keep him busy. He is hoping to make someones wish for Christmas! Raisin will not be available for adoption until the week of 12/19/11 My Adoption Fee is $150.00 IMPORTANT All our pets are fostered in volunteers' homes. We do not have the resources to answer phone or email inquiries without a completed application.
