Meet Vegas! He is a male Pit Bull Terrier mix who is 3-4 months old and who currently weighs 18lbs as of 2/29. Vegas got his name because he is lucky! He was found on the side of the road on leap day! We couldn’t find a fitting name for a dog found on leap day, except that he was lucky. Vegas is great in the crate and can stay in his crate for up to 4 hours. He can sleep in a crate but does well enough to sleep on a dog bed in his foster parents bedroom. Vegas is not quite house trained but he is still young. He does know when he goes outside that he needs to go potty! He will be a medium sized boy fully grown—and will be a very durable dog—meaning he can go everywhere and do everything with you! Typical of a Pit Bull—he is an all-around dog. Vegas does well with all other dogs and does well with cats. He does well with children. He is a super friendly dog who is happy and affectionate—he is also very social. His foster mom says he loves to play with other dogs and people. He is extremely friendly and loves to play with tennis balls and play fetch. He is described as being outgoing. He loves to explore. Vegas would do best with a family who has the time for a puppy and room in their heart for a loving boy!
