Hello! My name is Velvet! I am a female 1 1/2 year old Chihuahua who weighs a small 8lbs as of 4/27. Velvet does great in the crate. She is working on house training at this time. She does not go in the house but is still scared to go out on a leash. Velvet is a sensitive and timid girl who will need a quiet home. She will do fine with older children who can understand her sensitivity. While she is shy and timid, she does love to be held! She is a medium energy girl who loves to snuggle under the blankets! Her foster mom says she is sweet girl who is a great size and that Velvet's fur is soft like velvet! We would like to see Velvet go to a home where she can have a back yard to run around in--and where she can be safe. She is still timid and therefore if spooked, she may run off.
