Meet Jamie! She is a 1 ½ year old female Australian Shepherd who weighs 38lbs. Jamie is house trained and will go in a crate—however she does not prefer it! She is great with all other dogs and does well with cats. Jamie would also do fine in a home with children. It seems as if Jamie has been through a lot as she is very submissive and not very confident. She will often crawl on her belly when she is nervous. She is a bit of a shadow and really loves to be around her people. Jamie doesn’t seem to be very high energy and likes to spend her time sitting around with her foster family. She does enjoy going on walks with her family. She also has a nurturing side to her—as there are puppies in her foster home and she protects them like her own! Her ideal home will be one where her family will give her some patience and time to get to know and trust them. After that, she will love you forever and be your best friend.
