Update: Katrina has been in foster care since Jan/2014. She is now approaching 1 1/2 years old and can still be timid at times. She does not like to be picked up as it seems to scare her and she will cry. She does enjoy being with you and will follow you from room to room, but never on top of you. Although Katrina is usually quiet, she gets rather chatty when playing with her favorite toy! Katrina loves to sleep in the bed with you and will greet you in the morning for a little affection to start the day. She enjoys the companionship of both cats and dogs. She's a very gentle girl and so easy to have in the house. She will need a little patience when settling into a new home, but she is sure to love you forever. She came to us as a stray so she is a still shy. She enjoys being pet and attention if you approach her slow. She will sit in your lap for a while as well mostly if you put her there, but has gotten in my lap once or twice on her own. She is nervous of being picked up and will dart if you approach her to fast. She enjoys the company of all animals, cat and dog alike. But she will climb up on the bed and sleep with everyone there around your legs and your feet. She doesn't like to be too close to your face as it seems threatening to her right now. SCHS Foster Veterinary care and services Prior to being placed up for adoption, all cats at minimum receive a veterinary exam and are neutered/spayed, tested negative for FeLuk/FIV, HomeAgain microchipped, current on booster(s) and Rabies vaccination, fecal tested and de-wormed, and flea treated with Frontline, and ear mite treated with Revolution if needed.
