Shoshanna is a big girl with a big heart and just a pile of love to give. She just loves to be brushed and pet and doted on. She does well with both cats and dogs, although she prefers when they give her just a little bit of space. Even though she is a big girl, she doesn't mind being picked up (although it requires both hands!). 

Like many adult cats that come into our care, Shoshanna has story that we can only ever know parts of and guess at the rest: Once upon a time, Shoshanna was a healthy, happy kitty looking for a good home. She thought she hit the jackpot when she was adopted, but something went wrong. We aren't sure how her happy life got off track, but she was recently turned into the shelter in bad shape. She is so obese that she is unable to groom or clean herself. Even though she is a short hair cat, she was covered in matted fur, some of which had to be shaved off. Shoshanna's beautiful personality continues to shine through and she just needs a home that will appreciate her in all her glory (and help her drop a few pounds).
