Zena is a torti girl who is 9 weeks old as of 6/26/15. She was originally found in a closet along with her week old siblings and mother in a house abandoned by the renters who had moved out. When the owner went to remove the cats a few days later, he could only find three kittens instead of the original five so he assumed two had died. Three days later when he went back to make repairs to the house he heard the cry of kittens. Two week old Zena was found outside the house in the yard while her sister Zenia was found in the bathroom behind the tub. They were both dehydrated but had survived three days and nights without their mother in mid 80 degree weather. They were given fluids and reunited with Mom and have done well ever since. Zena is a quiet, confident cat that has always had an independent nature. While she loves to play with her siblings, she will often go find her own spot for a nap. Zena also gets along fine with the large friendly dog in her foster home. Zena has a strong will to live. Won't you give her a forever home today? SCHS Foster Veterinary care and services Prior to being placed up for adoption, all cats at minimum receive a veterinary exam and are neutered/spayed, tested negative for FeLuk/FIV, HomeAgain microchipped, current on booster(s) and Rabies vaccination, fecal tested and de-wormed, and flea treated with Frontline, and ear mite treated with Revolution if needed. Prior to being placed for adoption, all kittens (under 5 months of age) receive at minimum a veterinary exam and are neutered/spayed, tested negative FeLuk, HomeAgain micro-chipped, current on booster shots, fecal tested and de-wormed, and flea treated with Frontline, and ear mite treated with Revolution if needed.
