Hello there, I'm Deputy. I got my name because I started hanging around a Sheriff's department.  I spent over a year living as a feral cat, but now I crave the comfort of a warm lap. I am still a little bit of a work in progress but once I feel comfortable with you, I'm a sweet and loving fellow. I am always ready for a cuddle and will jump in your warm lap. I must admit, I'm a bit wary of men, but with patience and understanding, I'm sure I can overcome my fear. I lived on the streets for over a year where some people weren't very nice to me. I am still learning to trust. So, I may give a warning hiss when I first meet you because I need to make sure I am safe. I dream of a quiet home, where I can curl up and purr to my heart's content. If you're looking for a loyal companion who will love you unconditionally, I'm your cat. Let's create our own forever home together.

SCHS Veterinary Care and Services for Cats (6 months of age and older): Prior to being placed for adoption, all cats, at a minimum, receive a veterinary exam, are neutered/spayed, tested for FeLV, microchipped, current on booster(s) and rabies vaccinations, de-wormed, flea treated, and checked/treated for ear mites.
