Katniss is much like her fictional character’s namesake.  She found herself in a rural shelter with limited funds and no resources to care for her or her siblings when she was just days old.  Thankfully Scott County Humane Society was able to pull them into foster care.  Katniss was the only one of the three to survive and she’s been a fighter since the start.  Katniss is the definition of a spoiled rotten bottle baby.  She loves nothing more than to be curled up with her foster mom.  Katniss is in a home with both cats and dogs.  She prefers the companionship of the human and the dog over the other cats, but she gets along with both.  Katniss’ idea home would be one in which they can devote lots of time to all her to snuggle with them.  She loves to sleep in bed next to her human under the covers.
