Russian Blue / Domestic Short Hair / Mixed (short coat) : : Female : : Senior : : Medium
Lady came to us when her care taker passed away. Lady was previously a mostly outdoor kitty. She has adjusted well to living inside and doesn’t seem to want outside. She is a fairly calm kitty at times will play occasionally when shes feeling good. Lady has some respiratory issues likely from illnesses in the past she wasn’t treated for, our vets said she has some scar tissue in her lungs. So may need some meds here and there to help her breathe better. She can be independent at times, and really affectionate when she wants to where she will want to sit on your chest. Due to her respiratory issues we will require a smoke free home for her. She has done fine with other cats in her foster home mostly stays to herself vs companion for another. She would prefer a home without dogs even though she’s learned to co exist with the ones in her foster home. So may do the same in her forever home if the dogs learn to respect her space. But if they accidentally approach her too fast she will smack at them. She is a sweet kitty and deserves a soft spot to live out her golden years.
