During the really cold time at the end of December / beginning of January, Cindy Lou tried to stay warm and climbed into the engine of a car. When the car started up, it burned almost 30% of her body and the fan declawed her left back leg. All of her wounds have been treated and closed up nicely, but she is certainly still recovering from this trauma - mentally and physically. Cindy Lou prefers the quiet and relaxing corners in her foster home. She likes soft and gentle pets. When you pick her up and lay her on your chest, she'll stay there and enjoy some snuggle time. She likes laying on a heating pad or under a blanket. Cindy Lou doesn't mind the other animals in the house as long as they leave her alone. We don't know if she will come more out of her shell as time goes by and she recovers, adjusts and relaxes, or if she will always have this calm demeanor. She will vocalize if she doesn't like something, and purr really loud when she enjoys her pets and snuggles.
