Canewood is a big, but gentle cat. He is very affectionate and loves attention. He has playful moments but they don't last very long. He likes to lay in the sun, watch the birds through the window or take a nap in his human's bed. He did great with the younger males and females as well as with the older female cats in his foster home. There was a grown dominant male foster cat and that didn't work out as well. He will be fine as an only cat, but can be paired easily with another less dominant cat. He didn't care to make friends with the dog in his foster home, but he wasn't aggressive towards it either.

Due to his size he is picky about the size of his litter box, so make sure to give him plenty of space. He is quiet timid when he first meets you, but he'll come out of his shell if you are willing to give him some time. Up to 1 week is not unrealistic.

Will you be his happily ever after?
