Thomas is a sweet boy, he has done well with first meetings of the dogs in his foster home.  He is staying close to his foster mom.  He is nervous around cats, at first till knows he can trust them.  Thomas does well mostly with other dogs, but can get a little fussy about not wanting to share his toys from time to time.  He’s a great lap dog, also loves to hug/snuggle close and give hisses often.  He likes to sleep under the covers at night.  Thomas did great with young children that visit.  He does fairly well on a leash but still working on learning sit and lay down.  If your looking for a great companion pup, Thomas is your guy.  Thomas has either been getting over a cold or has some perhaps seasonal allergies.  Which have improved over the last few weeks.  He would do best in a home with a companion dog.  He is mostly house trained, does best on a schedule/routine, has had a few accidents.

SCHS Veterinary Care and Services for Dogs (5 months of age and older): Prior to being placed for adoption, all dogs, at a minimum, receive a veterinary exam, are neutered/spayed, tested for heartworms and Lyme disease, and treated for internal parasites, flea/tick preventative , current on booster(s), bordetella and rabies vaccinations.

SCHS Veterinary Care and Services for Puppies (under 5 months of age): Prior to being placed for adoption, all dogs , at a minimum, receive a veterinary exam, are neutered/spayed , and treated for internal parasites, flea/tick preventative , current on booster(s), and rabies vaccinations. Puppies under 4 months of age will be placed into our foster to adopt program until the above services are met.
