Pam is an incredibly sweet young lady who absolutely adores children and really anyone who will pay attention to her.  Pam came to us from a rural shelter with her 3 puppies.   When Pam isn’t wrestling with the other dogs in the home she curled up in her foster mom’s lap.  She does not always like to share attention and can growl, but will stop with redirection.  Pam tolerates cats, but will chase any who hiss at her.  Pam is terrified of walking on a leash, but is making progress and will do best with a secure fenced in yard.  Bring crated is stressful for Pam and she will have accidents in her crate, but is getting better with it.  Pam’s idea home would be one with a family with patience and willingness to help her become the sweet dog she is deep down.  Living on her own outside she’s still trying to learn how to be a well behaved house dog.

SCHS Veterinary Care and Services for Dogs (5 months of age and older): Prior to being placed for adoption, all dogs, at a minimum, receive a veterinary exam, are neutered/spayed, tested for heartworms and Lyme disease, and treated for internal parasites, flea/tick preventative , current on booster(s), bordetella and rabies vaccinations.

SCHS Veterinary Care and Services for Puppies (under 5 months of age): Prior to being placed for adoption, all dogs , at a minimum, receive a veterinary exam, are neutered/spayed , and treated for internal parasites, flea/tick preventative , current on booster(s), and rabies vaccinations. Puppies under 4 months of age will be placed into our foster to adopt program until the above services are met.
