Honey Bear is a 12 year old pit bull who is around 77 pounds. Honey is the happiest senior dog you will ever meet. This sweet girl came into the Humane Society's care from rough conditions where she had been used for breeding. But with attention and love from her foster home, this girl is relaxing and learning to love living in a home. Honey knows her name well, basic commands, walks well on and off leash, and is house trained. She is 12 years old, so spends most of her day sleeping but LOVES to go on short walks a few times a day with her human. She is not phased at all by the cats/kittens in her foster home, and would be fine to have them in her forever home. She doesn't like to be jumped on or bothered by other dogs and will growl/snap if they don’t leave her alone... at her age, can you blame her? So she would do best in a home where she’s the only dog. The only other requirement for Honey's forever home is that it cannot have any stairs; her hips are not what they used to be and stairs are just too difficult for her these days. This senior lady is truly a gem and is looking for a soft place to lay down and flourish in her later years. Are you the right home for her? Estimated DOB: 07/17/09 Adoption fee: $ 150 (6% KY sales tax included) We would love to hear from you!
