I am Cairo, a full blooded German Shepherd looking for a new home.  All my brothers and sisters got trained as police dogs, but I failed the test because I love people too much!  People are what I like best and I am very protective of the ones I bond with.  I am living in a foster home with a dog and she is okay, but I would kind of prefer being the King of my own castle!

SCHS Veterinary Care and Services for Dogs (5 months of age and older): Prior to being placed for adoption, all dogs, at a minimum, receive a veterinary exam, are neutered/spayed, tested for heartworms and Lyme disease, and treated for internal parasites, flea/tick preventative , current on booster(s), bordetella and rabies vaccinations.

SCHS Veterinary Care and Services for Puppies (under 5 months of age): Prior to being placed for adoption, all dogs , at a minimum, receive a veterinary exam, are neutered/spayed , and treated for internal parasites, flea/tick preventative , current on booster(s), and rabies vaccinations. Puppies under 4 months of age will be placed into our foster to adopt program until the above services are met.
