Rex is a sweet 7 year old yorkie mix needing a new home.  He has an old hip injury that causes a slight limp, but does not seem to bother him.  Rex is under 10 pounds and likes to be with his person a lot.  An ideal home for him would be someone who works from home or is retired.  This boy is wonderful, but is frightened with a harness being placed on him.  A slip lead seems to be a better way to take him for a walk.  He really just wants to be with his person and does not wander far!

SCHS Veterinary Care and Services for Dogs (5 months of age and older): Prior to being placed for adoption, all dogs, at a minimum, receive a veterinary exam, are neutered/spayed, tested for heartworms and Lyme disease, and treated for internal parasites, flea/tick preventative , current on booster(s), bordetella and rabies vaccinations.

SCHS Veterinary Care and Services for Puppies (under 5 months of age): Prior to being placed for adoption, all dogs , at a minimum, receive a veterinary exam, are neutered/spayed , and treated for internal parasites, flea/tick preventative , current on booster(s), and rabies vaccinations. Puppies under 4 months of age will be placed into our foster to adopt program until the above services are met.
