Reggie is a big, handsome, friendly boy who will greet you at every turn with his sweet little voice. He is very affectionate and gentle, but has a playful side as well. He likes to steal harmless swats at your feet when you walk by - all a part of his plan to get your attention and receive some loving pets. Occasionally he is in the mood to be your shadow, but he also does just fine on his own. Reggie took no time at all to adjust to his current foster home. He does okay with the cat friendly dog there and has previously done well with other cats. He's most recently getting to know a kitten and is very curious about him. Reg is an easy going fella who doesn't get into anything, he would probably prefer having you all to himself and being the only animal in his forever home. He spends a lot of his time looking out the window and being a happy part of whatever room the family is hanging out in. Reggie isn't crazy about being held and likes when you join him for a nap after he's already established a cozy spot on the bed/couch. Whenever you need to handle him though, he does so without a fuss! An all-around really good boy :)
Reggie is a healthy cat, but is FIV positive. This simply means that his immune system might be a little weaker than other cats, but he can still live a long and normal life. FIV can only be passed through a deep bite wound, so as long as cats get along he poses no threat to others.
