Hello, my name is Shadow.  I'm a 6-year-old 60 pound Siberian Husky mix.  I am house, crate trained, and walk on a leash very well.  During the day, I enjoy laying around with my foster family while they are working or doing school work but I'm also happy when I'm outside playing or going for a walk.  I'm a good listener and follow the rules in my foster home. I'm good with the kids in this house that are 9 and 13 years old - I make a good cuddle buddy for them.  Since I've been in this foster house, I have not been around other dogs.  I will not do well in a house with cats.  The vet said I may have the beginning stages of arthritis and suggested fish oil capsules which I'm taking like a champ.

SCHS Veterinary Care and Services for Dogs (5 months of age and older): Prior to being placed for adoption, all dogs, at a minimum, receive a veterinary exam, are neutered/spayed, tested for heartworms and Lyme disease, and treated for internal parasites, flea/tick preventative , current on booster(s), bordetella and rabies vaccinations.

SCHS Veterinary Care and Services for Puppies (under 5 months of age): Prior to being placed for adoption, all dogs , at a minimum, receive a veterinary exam, are neutered/spayed , and treated for internal parasites, flea/tick preventative , current on booster(s), and rabies vaccinations. Puppies under 4 months of age will be placed into our foster to adopt program until the above services are met.
