Hello, I'm Wooten and I would like to tell you a little about myself. As you can see from the photos, my fur is mostly black, but I do have a few white patches around my belly. My absolutely favorite place to be pet is under my chin and on my cheeks, but don't get me wrong I like a good pet down the back of the neck too, or if I am lounging on my back, a few belly pets sure make me happy. My favorite place to sleep is in the human's bed, and I love it when she gets in bed with me. I will cuddle right up beside her and nap away. During the day I like laying in the sunshine or curling up nearby my human friend, occasionally I'll bat at a toy or gaze out the window. I live with other cats and dogs, but I don't care much for them - I just grumble at them to leave me alone. I don't have front claws, so it scares me when new cats approach. I've been know to bite at others who come up too fast - so I really appreciate other animals who know how to give me space until I can trust them. I can be a bit stubborn, I've even learned how to convince my foster human that I need a wet food snack twice a day. I'm not looking for anything too wild or busy, someone to lay beside and keep company with. If you think you're that human, fill out an application and we can set up a time to meet!

Prior to being placed up for adoption, all cats (5 months and older), at minimum, receive a veterinary exam and are neutered/spayed, tested negative for FeLuk, microchipped, current on booster(s) and Rabies vaccination, de-wormed, and flea treated, and checked and treated for ear mites if needed.
