Born to a feral mother, Brandy is a little over three months old now and has been in foster care since she was just a few days old. Despite being the smallest kitten in the litter, Brandy has always been the leader, fearlessly doing all of the firsts: first to drink water from a bowl, first to try solid food, first to venture out of her kennel, first to go explore the entire house... Brandy is always up for an adventure and is likely to use up all of her nine lives without a vigilant human companion by her side. She waits at the door and will pop outside if you're not careful. She loves to "inspect" your dish-loading technique from inside the dishwasher. Ever since Brandy learned about cheese, she jumps into the refrigerator before you know it! While she's a highly intelligent little critter--she knows that the bag of crackers means cheese is likely to follow--she needs a special person to keep her safe while she's adventuring. 

Brandy is well-socialized to humans and will sometimes climb your leg for attention. Until she outgrows this habit, it's best to keep her nails trimmed short so she can't climb you as easily. Brandy will eventually outgrow this phase. She also helps with the litter boxes, swatting at the scooper and "power digging" to make sure fresh litter is turned up for all of her playmates while you clean. Brandy will scream for cheese in the kitchen: French Swiss and mozzarella, in moderation, are favorite treats.

Brandy would do well as an only kitten, but would probably appreciate having a friend to help her burn off all of her kitten energy during the day.

Prior to being placed up for adoption, all cats (5 months and older), at minimum, receive a veterinary exam and are neutered/spayed, tested negative for FeLuk/FIV, microchipped, current on booster(s) and Rabies vaccination, de-wormed, and flea treated, and checked and treated for ear mites if needed.
