Born to a feral mother, Calliope is a little over three months old and has been in foster care since she was just a few days old. Calliope loves her humans and her brother, JD, whom she imitates, cuddles, and plays with constantly. She even wears her heart on her side to show it!

Calliope and JD (shown in several pictures and also listed separately) are a bonded pair and need to find their forever home together. Calliope is a spunky, vocal kitten that doesn't have a problem "barking" for attention--she will literally stand at your feet, whip her tail around, and tell you what she wants... Repeatedly... Until you pick her up, then she's all purrs and snuggles. Calliope's bark is a short, raspy meow that she picked up from JD, also known as "J-Dawg" for his characteristic meows that sound more like a demanding puppy! Calliope is not used to people wearing socks since she's been healthy at home with her foster family since April, so expect her to attack your ankles any time you put socks on. Hopefully, she'll get used to people wearing socks and shoes as she gets older!

Prior to being placed up for adoption, all cats (5 months and older), at minimum, receive a veterinary exam and are neutered/spayed, tested negative for FeLuk/FIV, microchipped, current on booster(s) and Rabies vaccination, de-wormed, and flea treated, and checked and treated for ear mites if needed.
