Mr Buttercup is the only boy in his litter and has 3 crazy sisters. He is the more timid of the bunch, but he has come out of his shell so much. The big cat in his foster home has helped him learn how to "cat" and be more confident. He is still a little cautious and needs to observe and check things out first. After he does all that he's ready for some serious cuddles and purring. He is used to children of all ages and is good with dogs too. He has tested positive for FIV, but this could be from his mother's antibodies. He will need to be retested at 6 months old. Being FIV positive just means he is more susceptible to illnesses and will need to be a house cat only. FIV is spread through deep bite wounds most of the time; so that's something to keep in mind if you already have a cat. Buttercup is a sweet little shy boy and would love to have a person of his own.

Prior to being placed up for adoption, all cats (5 months and older), at minimum, receive a veterinary exam and are neutered/spayed, tested negative for FeLuk/FIV, microchipped, current on booster(s) and Rabies vaccination, de-wormed, and flea treated, and checked and treated for ear mites if needed.
