This adorable little man is Charlie Ward. He is very timid with people when he first meets them and will require an owner who will give him time to adjust and earn his trust. He is 4 years young and loves to play with toys and a comfy dog bed. Charlie is crate trained and if taken out religiously has only a few accidents inside the house. He requires a fenced yard because he is a runner and has proven he needs one. Your fence will need inspected prior to bringing him home as he can escape through small cracks. He spent 4 days and nights running loose after pulling his collar off the first day we got him. We were just glad we were finally able to trap him in a live trap near Ward Hall, hence his surname. Charlie likes other dogs and curls up in the bed with one of the older residents in his foster home most of the time. He has a bark that sounds like a quack and has a light snore when he sleeps. He is looking for a home where he can be one of the pack with another dog or two.
