Zena is a 4 year old chihuahua dachshund mix. She is spayed and is 10.8lbs.  Zena is pee pad trained and is learning to relieve herself outside.  Zena is very shy.  She needs someone who can be patient with her as it takes her several weeks to begin establishing a trusting relationship.  She is also shy and slow to establish trust with other small dogs but eventually begins to interact with her peers.  She has NOT shown food aggression or any type of aggression toward people or other dogs.  She has not been tested with small children or cats as of now.  Once you win Zena over she is a great companion/lap dog.  She likes to sit beside you or sit in your lap.  She prefers to sleep in the bed beside you at night. During her time in her foster home she has rarely barked.  Zena is a precious, loving little girl. She is in need of a patient, caring, person who will love her and be her forever home.
