Meet Teti, the tough-as-nails Tabby! Teti was named after an Egyptian King because of his bold facial markings and the fact that, after a rough patch in life, he deserves to be treated like royalty for the rest of his days. Now that he's fully recovered from his accident, he's turning out to be quite the spicy fellow! He's playful with his people, blends well with the other cats in his foster home, and *loves* watching "bird TV" out the back sliding glass door. Though he's still a bit wobbly, he runs all over the house and even jumps the baby gate when he wants in the bedroom with the foster kittens. If he wants attention, he meows loudly for pets and snuggles. We love his larger-than-life personality!

Teti came to us after suffering a terrible accident that left him missing most of his right rear leg. He was found by a good Samaritan that immediately brought him to the Scott County Animal Care and Control facility where his medical needs were addressed. Teti was held there for several days while a search for his owner was underway. Sadly, this handsome fellow's owner was not found, so he's spent his time recovering in a loving foster home.

Teti is adjusting to life well following the amputation of his damaged limb and no long-term adverse effects are expected; most cats adjust to life on three paws just fine. We have noticed that he favors litter boxes that have high sides or are covered so he can lean when he does his business. It takes him a second to get in and he sometimes winds up with litter stuck to his back paw, but it's easy enough to wipe off with a paper towel. Teti really is a low maintenance guy.

Are you the special person that will spoil Teti Tabby for the rest of his days? If you'd like to find out, please arrange a meet and greet with this handsome guy today!
