Hi, my name is Emma.  My mom says I'm a very sweet, affectionate, loyal lap dog.  I've had some scary things happen to me in my past so I'm very timid when I meet new people and I might accidentally nip you out of fear if you push my boundaries, I promise if you give me time to warm up to you, you won't regret it, just ask my foster mom.  I'm currently in a foster home with other small dogs and I don't mind them too much or the cats either, although they are fun to chase occasionally.  I just ask the the other animals respect that my food bowl and toys are mine.  I might get a little cranky if they eat out of my bowl and growl and snap at them.  Because of my issues with food and toys I would do best in home with older kids who understand to give me my space.  I also need to let you know that I'm not too fond of those things my foster mom puts on me called a collar and a harness with a leash.  They scare me and I really don't want to move with them on.  Foster mom is working with me on it an she tells me I should go outside to potty, but I'm not so sure yet, I might like it better if I had a fenced in yard I could run in, but foster mom doesn't have one.  If you have time to show me love and teach me to trust others fill out an application to take me home today.
