Brody is a 1 year old, brindle great dane mix and absolutely loves people and animals. We have found during his time in foster care, that he really needs structure in his life. We think its partly because he has had so little in the past few months, between his stay at the animal shelter, different handlers, and being around different animals. He needs to be in a low stress household, and we suggest no small kids in his adoptive family.

When brody is allowed the chance to relax and be himself, he is a sweet moderate to low energy dog. He loves to play, either with other dogs or people, but can lay around the house with chew toys if nothing exciting is going on. He is housetrained and crate trained, though he does not like the crate. He will willingly go in with a treat, but will cry or whine if he has not been given the chance to get his energy out prior.

Brody knows the difference between dog toys and people things (aka furniture, home decor, trashcans, etc). He will chew toys, but only those and is not destructive. He is healthy, happy, and gives kisses if allowed.

We hope that Brody can go to a home with other dogs as he gets along with them well and loves to play. It would also be ideal to have a fenced in yard, or lots of space to run around, like a farm.
