Tabby / Domestic Short Hair / Mixed (short coat) : : Female : : Baby : : Medium
Uma came into the shelter by herself as a stray kitten. She tested positive for feline leukemia but to date has been a healthy kitten. Some kittens who are exposed to the virus when young will develop antibodies to it and later test negative when their immune system clears the virus. Much to her displeasure, she is being kept in a cage by herself until she can be retested to keep her isolated from other cats in her foster home. We are looking for a foster to adopt situation for her so she can get out of the cage. If you have no other cats in your home, you could adopt her for no fee with the adoption not finalized until she reaches the age of six months. This will allow us to cover all testing and any medical expenses for her until she is six months old. She will be tested again at the end of November. Won't you consider adopting this sweet girl and let her get out of the cage to run and play like kittens should? Adoption fee: Waived (6% KY sales tax included)
