Hi guys, my name is Hank.  One day I was living on the streets with my mom and two sisters and the next day I found myself with my family at the shelter.  I then found my way with my family to my current foster home.  Boy!, all this change is hard on a young fellow.  I found a good place behind the toilet and hid from my foster mom for a few days and may have even hisses at her a few times when she tried to pet me.  I didn’t really mean anything by it, I was just scared.  My mom, Hazel says that humans are good things and give us food and  nice pets.  I’m still trying to learn that, but boy do I love some canned food.  I’ll have to admit that I don’t mind the occasional pet here and there.  I’m a big fan and running and playing with other cats, but the dogs in my foster home scare me some.  I see the other cats curl up with them so I guess they can’t be that bad, maybe I’ll eventually like them.  I hope my future forever home will be understanding with all my fears and give me time to warm up with them.
